Dental Treatment (Happy Gas Sedation and General Anaesthetic)

We offer two types of treatment Nitrous Oxide (happy gas) sedation or deep sedation (general anaesthetic).

Nitrous Oxide:

For Nitrous oxide – $400 for our treatment room fee / Nitrous oxide +Dental Fees

(If eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Medicare Scheme can be used towards this appointment or if you have private health extras cover can be used towards this appointment) but there will always be a gap payment.

Dental fees: Will vary depending on treatment required Dr Naik will assess on a consultation appointment and discuss treatment options and management.

General Anaesthetic:

If treatment under general anaesthetic is required, it will need to be provided in a safe day surgery setting, we provide this at Caboolture Private Hospital and Herston Private Hospital.

For General Anaesthetic there are 3 sets of fees (no Medicare CDBS rebates can be used).

Our outline costs are a guesstimate only and may not reflect the entire cost as this may depend on time, day and duration of the treatment required.

Anaethetist fees: Time dependent (Paid prior to treatment - portion of it is covered by Medicare and Private health)

Hospital fees: Approximately $1300-$1800 or excess with your private health fund (Paid on the day of treatment)

Dental fees: Will vary depending on treatment required. Dr Naik will assess at the consultation appointment and discuss treatment options and management. Health fund rebates apply if you have extras cover with your private health but can only be claimed after the treatment is completed.

Payment plans:

We do offer two types of payment plans.

1. DentiCare: ONLY the dental fees are eligible to go on a Denticare payment plan providing you are:

• 18 years of age or older.
• an Australian citizen living in Australia.
• not receiving Centrelink benefits.
• not currently bankrupt or subject to any debt agreement.
• employed and/or have adequate income to service my payment plan.

A minimum of 20% deposit + 4.9% interest will be required as an upfront deposit.The remaining balance is then paid through the Denticare payment plan over 12 months.

2. TLC payment plan (all three fees)

Payment plans are available from $2,000 to $50,000 and it’s easy to apply online. Once approved, you can start your treatments right away and can make additional payments at any time. Repayments start from as little as $30 per week. https://tlc.com.au/
